17 in 2017 August Progress

I have spent most of my sewing time this month starting new projects (!) more on that later...

for Meredith's WIP challenge this month I have been concentrating on catching up with Down the Rabbit Hole. It is getting too big to take a photo of now - I just have four more leaves to appliqué and then I am all caught up for the next border due today 😃

See how everyone else has done this month on Meridith's blog https://pomegranateandchintz.wordpress.com

  1. It does get harder and harder to photograph something like this, doesn't it! Could you peg it to a washing line, perhaps?

  16. Your Rabbit Hole is absolutely gorgeous. I particularly love the effect of your skinny borders. I'm stuck at this latest month. I hadn't realized how big the next border would be, and what I had pictured doing just won't work the way I want it to in the bigger size. I'm thinking I'll wait until we start working on the next applique round to see how I want to tackle this month's border when I can lay the next wide border pieces down to better judge effects.
